OPENING DAY EVENTS

Pruning Fruit Trees with Dave Fuller—learn about training your fruit trees and pruning apple trees of all ages from this demonstration and take-home publications. Pruning is the first step toward better trees and fruit. Dave Fuller is an Agriculture and Non-Timber Forest Products Professional from the University of Maine Cooperative Extension. Fee: Donation to the Franklin County Master Gardening Program.

 
10:30am Grafting Fruit Trees with Erlon Rand—a demonstration of the art of grafting along with a question and answer session. Erlon Rand is a local Commercial Apple Grower. Fee: Donation to the Franklin County Master Gardening Program.
 
Kick-Off Day of Our Healthy Community Coalition Raffle
Robin's Flower Pot is honored to work in conjunction with Tree Line Landscaping to provide support to the Healthy Community Coalition (HCC), an organization that is beneficial to the health and welfare of our community.

4 Season Container Gardening Class
How it works—want a beautiful container from spring through winter? Then sign-up for our 4 Season Container Gardening Class and freshen up your container for non-stop color and interest. The class will be broken into four sessions, meeting at various times throughout the 2010 season—Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Each session will have two dates to choose from for your convenience. All materials are included: container, plants, soil and fertilizer, along with design help and care instructions. Robin, Diana and other staff members will be available to offer guidance and instruction.
SPRING:
April 25 @ 11am or May 1 @ 1pm
SUMMER:
June 9 @ 11am or June 12 @ 1pm
FALL:
September 8 @ 11am or September 11 @ 1pm
WINTER:
November 17 @ 11am or November 21 @ 1pm
Fee: $120 prepaid for all four sessions or $40 per class.
