UPCOMING CONTESTS FOR 2010

Photo Contest It's simple, send us a photo by August 5, 2010 of a container, window box or garden planted with flowers purchased from Robin's Flower Pot. You'll be entered into a drawing for a $50 Gift Certificate. The winner will be drawn at our Annual Moonlight Garden Party on August 7, 2010. Drop-off your photos at the greenhouse or email them.

Garlic Appetizer Contest Whip up your favorite garlic appetizer with locally grown garlic and bring it to our Annual Moonlight Garden Party on August 7, 2010 for our judges to savor. The winner will receive a $50 Gift Certificate and one pound of our own fresh garlic. If you need some locally grown garlic, stop by and pick some up, we have plenty.

Salsa & Pesto Contest This is for all you Salsa and Pesto Connoisseurs—conjure up a fresh batch of pesto and/or salsa made with locally grown ingredients and bring it to the greenhouse on September 25, 2010 at 10am for our judges to sample. The lucky winners will each receive a $25 Gift Certificate and a potted Mumpkin.

Great Pumpkin & Mammoth Sunflower Contest For a $3 entry fee, you will receive either 3 Pumpkin plants or 3 Sunflower plants. Grow them for the season and return to the greenhouse on October 9, 2010 at 9am with your prize winning pumpkin or sunflower. We will weigh and measure to see who the top four winners are for each contest, prizes will be awarded. Adults and children are judged separately. Register at the greenhouse between May 24, 2010 and June 20, 2010.
